From 2003-2008 Tim was at Yahoo!, most recently as Senior Vice President of Global Advertising Marketplaces overseeing the primary advertising product lines at the company, including Display, Search and Video. Previously at Yahoo!, Tim was Vice President of Search where he was responsible for both the consumer search and paid search businesses. Prior to Yahoo!, Tim was Vice President of Search at Overture (formerly GoTo.com). Prior to Overture, he was a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company. Tim earned his B.S. from The London School of Economics, his M.Phil from Oxford University and his MBA from Stanford University.
Prior to OpenX, John was president of Spot Runner, an online media exchange that simplifies the buying and selling of television media. Before Spot Runner, he was chief revenue officer of Green Dot, the pioneer and market leader in the prepaid debit card industry. Previously, John was senior vice president and general manager of the Affiliate Business of Overture Services, Inc., the originator of the paid search advertising model, now a key driver of the digital economy. Before Overture, John was an executive at Disney/ABC Cable Networks and Discovery Communications. John holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Tom Fuelling is responsible for OpenX’s accounting, financial planning and analysis, business intelligence and talent and organization functions. Tom brings to his role more than 25 years of experience leading finance and accounting teams, developing relationships with equity analysts and supporting financial transactions ranging from mergers and acquisitions to initial public offerings. From 2007 to 2014, Tom was at Hulu, the popular online video service, where he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer, and was instrumental in taking that company from $0 to $1 billion in revenue.
Prior to Hulu, Fuelling served as chief financial officer at a number of companies, including Ascent Media Network Services, a Liberty Media company; ARTISTdirect, where he helped take the company public; and Village Roadshow Pictures, a film and television production company. Fuelling began his career at PriceWaterhouse where he spent eight years in the entertainment practice. Tom holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
At OpenX, Jason focuses on leveraging his extensive market knowledge and understanding of publisher needs to drive innovation for the Company and the industry.
Prior to OpenX, Jason was a senior vice president at Claria, a behavioral marketing pioneer. Before Claria, he was a vice president at GoTo.com/Overture/Yahoo! for six years, where he built and led the business development/affiliate team responsible for developing, executing and managing all of that company’s paid search partnerships and global strategic relationships, helping it evolve from a destination site to the largest distributed search network on the Internet, generating more than $1.5 billion in annual revenue. Early in his career, Jason was director of Business Development at EarthLink Network, overseeing all third party distribution deals for EarthLink’s access software.
Tish Whitcraft plays a leading role in delivering on OpenX’s constant commitment to maximizing publisher revenue and to providing positive experiences for every partner. She leads OpenX’s partner services team, including all of the Company’s support, sales engineering, and customer operations.
Tish has more than 20 years of experience building and leading innovative, customer-driven ecosystems. Before OpenX, she was Chief Customer Officer at Tagged, a social discovery network with 300 million members, for which she ran all product, revenue, and business operations. Prior to Tagged, she was Senior Vice President, customer experience and operations, at MySpace/Fox Interactive Media, where she had full responsibility for the global user experience across all products, leading a team that supported more than 250 million users. Previously, she was Vice President, customer care and operations, at Yahoo!, where she led all global customer operations for that company’s 850 million user base in 48 markets and 68 product categories. Tish holds a B.S. in Business from California State Polytechnic University.
Nicholas sets the direction for all OpenX products including the company’s three primary products: a global RTB ad exchange that includes yield monetization, ad serving technology and content valuation – all built on a world class platform. Prior to OpenX, Nicholas served in a variety of senior roles, including product management, corporate strategy and business development in the United States, Germany and France with SAP. In particular, he was senior vice president, product management, in charge of all SAP cloud solutions for large enterprises. Nicholas received his Master in Law and Master in Business from the University Paris II Panthéon Assas.
Qasim oversees OpenX’s global Real-Time Bidding exchange and Supply Side Platform businesses. From 2005-2008 Qasim was at Yahoo!, most recently as Senior Director of the Advertiser Marketplaces Group, providing strategic guidance and analytical support to drive operational decisions for the Advertiser Marketplaces. Previously at Yahoo!, Qasim was Director of Display Marketplaces.
Prior to Yahoo!, Qasim was a consultant at Bain & Company, Inc. Prior to Bain, he was a senior analyst in the Corporate Strategic Planning and Business Development group at The Walt Disney Company where he researched, planned and executed new business initiatives and major transactions. Qasim earned his B.S. from Stanford University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Doug leads corporate governance and all legal projects for the company. Prior to joining OpenX, Doug was General Counsel and Vice President, Corporate Development for Idealab where he oversaw dozens of operating companies through every stage of growth. Before Idealab, Doug was Chief Legal Officer and Vice President, Business Development at Ticketmaster-Citysearch and managed their successful IPO, raising $110 million in 1998. Previously he was in private practice at Heller Ehrman LLP and clerked for a federal district judge. Doug obtained his B.A. in Classics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned an M.A. in Greek and Roman History from University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. from Stanford Law School where he served on the Stanford Law Review.
Based in the New York office, Deborah is responsible for the overall development and application of global strategic communications at OpenX. She brings to the company more than 20 years’ experience of leading high-impact communications strategies for internationally recognized brands.
Before joining OpenX, Deborah served as Executive Vice President, Global Communications at Fab. This followed her role as Vice President, Corporate Communications at Pandora, where she built a comprehensive communications team from scratch, simultaneously taking the company through its IPO in 2011. Prior to Pandora, Deborah held the position of Vice President, Corporate Communications for IAC/InterActive Corp, a role she took on following IAC’s purchase of LendingTree. As Director of Corporate Communications at LendingTree, Deborah oversaw the company’s IPO and eventual sale. Earlier in her career, Deborah worked for two high-tech PR agencies, contributing to the Priceline.com and and GoTo IPO media relations efforts. (GoTo became Overture, which was subsequently purchased by Yahoo!) Deborah holds a B.A. in British and American Literature from Brandeis University.
